2025 Seal was showcased in March 2024. Now 2025 models have been introduced with some changes. Its sale has started. Customers can book it on a token amount of Rs 1.25 lakh. Talking about the prices of all three variants, Dynamic RWD (61.44 kwh) trim can be purchased for Rs 41 lakh, Premium RWD (82.56 KWH) for Rs 45.55 lakh and Performance AWD (82.56 KWH) for Rs 53 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Explain that mid and top trim have been increased by Rs 15,000 as compared to before.
Talking about the battery and powertrain, the Dynamic version has a 61.44 kwh battery and comes in RWD (rear-wheel drive). At the same time, 82.56 kwh battery has been given in Premium and Performance variants. AWD (all-wheel drive) support is available in the Performance version.
Byd Seal now has a new Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) low-voltage battery, which is six times lightly, five times a better discharged rate and claims about 15 years of life.
Some new changes have also been made in the cabin, now it provides silver-plated dimming canopy, power sunshde, and a large AC compressor, which has made cooling more efficient. In addition, a new air purification module is also provided.
Other specifications are the same as the previous version. The existing features of Byd Seal include rotating 15.6-inch infotainment display, 10.25-inch digital driver display, dual wireless phone charger, head-up display, V2L technology, checkery entry, NFC card and 12-spicker sound systems. This includes dual-zone auto AC and ventilated and heated front seats.
Safety features include 9 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, hill hold control, ISOFIX child seat anchor, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and autonomous emergency braking Adas system.
The 61.44 kwh battery claims a 510 km claim range, 82.56 kWh pack coming with an all-wheel drive and 82.56 kwh pack 650 km range coming with a rear-wheel drive.
This car of Byd takes a direct competition with premium electric sedans like Hyundai Ioniq 5, KIA EV6 and BMW i4 in India.
