IQoo battlegrounds series tournament with Rs 1 Crore prize pool announced July 21 all de tails

IQO has launched the largest BGMI tournament ever in India, named IQO Battlegrounds Series. The tournament is being extended by Nodwin Gaming and a total prize pool is kept at Rs 1 crore. The tournament starts from July 21, where the top 31 BGMI teams across the country will participate, as well as the winner of IQOO Community Cup will also get direct entry. The company has designed it in a hybrid format that will be followed by the Grand Lan Finale after the online qualifier. LAN Finale will be held from 8 to 10 August.

The IQO has been presenting itself as a performance-centric brand since 2020 and has been continuously supporting ESPORS. The series has been introduced by the company as its “flagship gaming IP”, which aims to give a big platform to India’s top gaming talent. According to IQO’s CEO Nipun Marya, the tournament is not just an event but part of the performance-driving vision of the brand, in which skills, passions and ambitions will be celebrated.

Akshat Rathi, co-founder of Nodwin Gaming, also described this Initiative as a “high-impact, grassroots forward” step for the gaming industry. He said that this is not just an event, but a new twisting action plan to Indian eSports, where both professional players and new talent will get equal platform.

Trinity Gaming co-founder Abhishek Aggarwal described it as “Statement of Intent” and said that this tournament not only brings the competition but also the content creators and community together. That is, IQO Battlegrounds Series is not just a gaming tournament, but a combination of brand and gaming culture.
